Advocacy Programs
The Department of Advocacy Programs is a combination of three (3) related branches in the USG. This department seeks to address the current issues and stands on the three (3) concerns at hand - environmental, social concerns, and issues. Through active collaboration with internal linkages as well as from external resources, possibilities for community exposure will be maximized. The secretary shall head the department and coordinate the three (3) branched for a streamlined set of activities leading to the departmental vision.
- Environmental Awareness
The undersecretary will chair the branch in the furtherance of environmental awareness and action leading to resource conservation and maximization. This branch will take charge of planning, implementing, and monitoring activities pertaining to exposure ideas and tangible environmental impacts.
- Social Concerns
This branch will be in partnership with BALAYAN and other outside organizations committed to the sustained growth of the chosen communities for the academic year. Social Concerns will spearhead immersion programs and outreach activities to further the responsiveness of Lasallians to the national concerns and crises affecting the majority.
- Issues and Advocacies
This branch aims to identify and advocate for issues relevant to Lasallians. It seeks to provide information regarding certain issues and manages the promotions and publicity to attract student involvement and cultivate the sense of conern through the proper marketing of the said issues. This branch is very open to external partners in the furtherance of a specific cause.
