Public Relations
The Department of Public Relations seeks to keep relations with the organizations and institutions both inside and outside of the University. Keeping the USG's vision in focus, this department will aim to create public relation programs for the promotion of ideas and the establishment of a participatory government.
The secretary will chair the department and oversee the department's two (2) branches - External and Internal Affairs by an undersecretary each.
- External Affairs
This branch will be in close dealings with outside partners and affiliations for possible partnerships and activities. The undersecretary will be handling activities to strengthen ties with external publics and represent the SUG in organizational meetings outside of campus.
- Internal Affairs
This branch will pay attention to internal publics such as the students, organizations, and other partakers in the Lasallian community. The undersecretary will hold dialogue programs, information gathering, and will also serve as an information dissemination officer for the USG's ideas and plans. Internal affairs will seek to provide venues to create a participatory environment inside the campus. This branch will also maintain good relations with the USLS Alumni Association and the Parents-Teachers Council.
